110 – 255 kHz

This Long Wave (LW) band is used for AM broadcasting in ITU Region 1 (Europe, Africa, Middle East) and for maritime radionavigation. Allocations have been stable since WARC-79 given the well-established nature of long-wave broadcasting and navigation services in this range.
