ITU RR table: 1 610-1 660 MHz
The L-band MSS uplink and radionavigation satellite band, used by LEO satellite constellations including Iridium (1616–1626.5 MHz) and Globalstar (1610–1618.5 MHz). It also hosts radio astronomy allocations protecting the OH spectral line at 1612 MHz — an internationally recognised quiet zone for passive sensing.
